Legoland (Day 3)

Today we went to Legoland--What a day! The weather was perfect for a day at a theme park-overcast but just the right temperature for a bunch of Alaskans! You may notice someone new in our family picture. . . Uncle Richard came down from Los Angeles to spend the weekend with us. We loved having him with us, especially Taylor.Legoland here we come!

Here are Trace, Taylor, and Richard posing with one of the first 'people' we met. Tanner wouldn't go anywhere near him.
Everywhere we looked there were amazing things built with Legos.

We went on some fun rides.

And Taylor discovered a love of Roller Coasters. He went with Trace and Richard on 3 rollercoaster rides and loved every one. This was the most extreme coaster at the park.

Taylor (reluctantly) poses with Darth Vador.

Oh no! He's being eaten by a shark!!
And speaking of sharks . . .

Tanner shows us his new stuffed shark.

Tanner watching how legos are made.
Lots of machines and a smell of cooking plastic.
Cool!

Finally put these two hooligans where they belong!

Heather is enjoying the world famous Apple Fries.
These are made from Granny smith apples, fried, coated in cinniman/sugar and served with thick vanilla cream. Yum!!
Excuse me officer . . . someone has stolen my heart.
Tanner wants to join the act.

Tanner really liked the musical Lego Water Fountain. We all had a great time and were completely worn out by the time we headed back to Mission Beach.

WOW - you guys look like you are having so much fun. Your pictures are great - makes me feel like I'm right there with you.

Tell Richard he needs to eat more - he's too skinny. I was looking at all the lego figures and thinking Richard will be tempted to make a movie with moveable lego people.

I can't believe you are actually scrap booking on vacation. Now I'm really going to have to check out digital scrapping. Your pages are done before you even leave the trip.

Keep having fun and getting warm. Love, Charlotte
